Privacy Policy
Updated November 9, 2026 · VecBits
Reval is an AI photo editor operated by VecBits. This policy covers the iPhone app and this website. Contact kylecai.cc@gmail.com with privacy questions.
Information you choose to provide
The app processes photos you select, reference images, selected-area masks, editing instructions, and conversation history. It does not import your entire photo library. Photos saved to your device’s photo library remain under your control.
Accounts and history
Reval creates an anonymous account when you begin. Your account identifier connects your private cloud history, edits, and credit balance. If you link Sign in with Apple, we also receive the identifier and the name or email Apple provides. Anonymous credentials alone do not guarantee recovery after reinstalling the app or changing devices.
Photos and conversations are kept on your device and in private Supabase storage so you can return to an edit. Deleting a conversation removes its synced history when connected; copies you exported to Photos are not removed.
AI processing
OpenRouter and its selected model providers process editing instructions and, when needed, selected photos for analysis and planning. WaveSpeed and its model providers process selected photos, references, masks, and instructions to generate edited images. These services receive the inputs needed for the feature you use. Their processing may occur outside your country.
Provider handling of submitted content is subject to their policies: OpenRouter and WaveSpeed. Do not submit photos or information you do not have permission to share. Reval does not sell your photos or conversations.
Purchases and notifications
Apple handles App Store payment details. RevenueCat receives your Reval account identifier and purchase records to verify purchases and restore access. It does not receive your photos or chat messages. Supabase stores credit grants, reservations, and purchase-verification records. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
If you allow notifications, we store a device push token and account association to deliver Reval notifications, including completed edits. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings.
Service records and retention
We record request identifiers, model names, token counts, estimated costs, timings, and error states to operate the service and manage costs. These usage records do not include photos or message content. Hosting providers may process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver and protect the service.
History remains until you delete it or request account deletion. Billing and security records may be retained where needed for purchase verification, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. Backups may retain deleted information until their normal rotation completes.
Your choices
You can manage selected photo access and notifications in iOS Settings, delete conversations in the app, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your account and cloud data. We may ask for information needed to verify ownership. Do not email your password, authentication tokens, or private photos. Deleting Reval or your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage it separately in your Apple account.
This website
This website does not have advertising trackers, an account login, or an image-upload form. Images shown here are illustrative promotional previews. When you email support, your email provider and ours process your message.
Children and changes
Reval is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We update this policy when the service changes and publish the new date on this page. Your rights may include contacting your local data-protection authority.
